I'am just a scar
of a falling star...
of a falling star...
My enemies are made of glass
as
I enter their forest made of shards
“Girl, this is not the place you wanna be”
their leader beast keeps telling me
But I’ am armed, you see
with a sword and a deadly will
And as I fought till the death
an omen found its hearth
Nothing was right
when I saw the mirror
with the dawn’s first light
I kept hidden even from me
my nanna’s one and only plea
“girl, once you stand in front of it
you have to say with all your wit
“mirror mirror
on the wall
I don’t want to be
your fairest of all”
And now I stand across the time
a statue like a living mime
a petty reminder
of a shady fairy tale
usually you hear when you drinking ale
you cannot trust
what’s beneath your human grasp
your statue of snow
is telling you
as in darkness
dutifully you bow
Mirror - mirror on the wall
nobody trusts you anymore
